Sief has had a long career as a trainer internationally. He worked fulltime for four years for FC Groningen, was a trainer at a number of amateur clubs, was a teacher for the Royal Dutch Football Association, worked for the Ajax Academy in Ghana, and spent 15 years working for a variety of professional clubs in Qatar and the UAE.
